How life works according to Kabbalah

Imagine this, you are without any limitations and you decide to bestow kindness, so what do you do?
Well God was in just such a predicament and this is what he did.
From his infinity he created a vacuum – the space in which creatures, souls angels etc. exists – and in this vacuum he placed our physical universe with the four life forms, inanimate (that conceals the God within,) growth (vegetation,) animal (that desire life,) and people (thinking, speaking, sometimes rational beings.)
Now to truly give to us freedom to see the difference between good and evil, light and darkness, was created.
Light is God, unity, humility; evil is anger caused by ego (who are you to do that to me) hence ego itself is darkness.
To reach infinite goodness we experience both the pleasure and pain of ego, those thrills of feeling powerful and those intractable feelings of depression when things just somehow are messed up due to our own doing (the cause of depression.)
And through the roller-coaster of highs and lows, light and darkness, or perhaps darkness and light, a new reality – paradigm – truth, becomes manifest, that all that is good, is God, unity, humility.
