How is someone born from love, into love, end up like isis, nazis, or even simply mean? – you see, we are like a two story home – but every two story home, has three stories – for underneath every home, the thing that keeps it standing, is a firm hard foundation – likewise, behind every thought, speech and action lies our ego – without the irrational self-love there is no desire (which is why a depressed person – which is someone who hates themselves, loses their desire!) the problem with desiring your desires, is that it is irrational; hence, as long as things are good, secure, kind, loving, there is no reason not to be likewise – however beyond reaction (which can also cause us to feel jealous, hence malicious / mean) is the MIND – the one thing that can make us understand, that unless we go beyond our irrational ego, we are its miserable slave
