How good people can beat their ego

We are good, but the problem is we also have egos, so how can we be good without an ego?! simple, we must submit to the wisdom of our mashpia (Chassidic spiritual mentor, for now we do someone else’s decision of goodness, hence our ego cannot delude itself that IT is the good one!)
