That is true, but what we fail to appreciate is, there are two mechanisms to how things are done: the first is the human, which is, say, I need to go to the grocery store; I will invariably choose the one closest to me; and then there is the mechanism of how you would do things, if you cannot lose anything, so say you are infinite, you can show up at any grocery store, what you do, is go to the one which all the factors are best!
