Is it through messages that others tell you, is it through Biblical wisdom, is it through messages you yourself consider? The first and foremost thing for getting any message, is to be looking for it!
The holy Baal Shem Tov, the founder of modern Jewish mysticism Chassidus states that as God is infinite, hence every event is reallly designed to teach us; for God’s primary essential job-description, if we can call it that, is a guide through life; offering us the freedom to choose light instead of darkness, which is primarily by describing what is light in a dark world.
However the primary condition is interest, for no matter how many interesting messages a television program may offer, if you are not interested in watching that program you, well, will not see it!
Firstly, we need to understand that this universe is God’s blackboard and if you are interested he will and is constantly inscribing his guidance like a tour guide through the darkness into ever expanding horizons of light for you.
Once you are interested, truly desirous of seeing the light, you will see it.
