How do people think

As always, life is a mixture of nature and nurture – we think thoughts we wish to think and we think thoughts we don’t wish to think – and if you ask, why think a thought you don’t wish to?? – thoughts are by-products of emotions – there are primarily two emotions (though they have by-product emotions) love and fear – So just as you think about the vacation or guy you wish to marry/take, you also think about the bill you don’t want to pay or the person that causes you fear – Now as a child we are vulnerable, we are seeking security so we assume that if we simply (this is subconscious) accept the reality the adults in our life share, we then will be secure (remember fear is the other reason we think) So we buy into the worldview – view of the world of our society – So in order to understand what people are thinking, you need to know only three things: what do they want, what don’t they want and what does their society believe; on a practical level, as the first two are more personal (though generally men seek recognition and women seek men and children) nonetheless, the third is quite revealed, because everyone wants everyone to think like they do – and essentially, though there are many branches, Islam seeks and believes it will have world domination (one nation under Islamic law, that’s why ISIS calls itself a caliphate – which is how Islam started and what they dream and are actively pursuing) Christianity wants everyone to be saved (believe Jesus is god, though the belief in Jesus does lead many to the highly positive values of love and the ethics of the Bible) Judaism has a unique worldview that we all basically must do goodness and kindness – Many who have no belief have a “don’t tell me what to do” – but unfortunately, they are susceptible to others who tell them, for as they don’t have a core-belief system, for example they will easily buy into antisemitism or pro-gay etc. etc. – but the ultimate of all ultimate, is not to follow anyone else’s opinion
