Hi I am your brain – here is how you work – as Kabbalah teaches, you have three separate people in one – you uniquely have a rational mind – the mind is trying to tell you, what is right both from a goodness and kindness and simple logic (goodness and kindness to yourself) – however opposing the mind in a bitter struggle is your heart, instinctual biological urges – let’s call this your dog – your dog doesn’t have much morality; yes, if he sees someone in dire need he may feel bad, but his primary motive is a. safety – If he feels unsafe there is little he will not do (fight or flight – ignoring everyone else) b. pleasure – if he sees a female or a bone, he goes ballistic – in fact, as your dog is a social creature he likes (when he doesn’t fear or hate) people. Next is the nazi – I know most of us don’t like to acknowledge our nazi, but believe you me there is a nazi in you – this is what is called your ego – you see, whenever you delusionally think you are great (you know that whole Aryan super-race…) someone who opposes you, or even your delusional greatness, is seen as your enemy (it is the bizarre logic to the wicked queen in snow-white – “mirror mirror on the wall, whose the fairest one of all?” and she becomes jealously enraged when she discovers that there is someone more beautiful…) Now of-course just as your dog can overtake your common-sense (as we see so clearly both in panic, anxiety, fear and in addictions; even more so your nazi; as we see well in the nazis, in terrorism, but this is the true motive behind even minor forms of terrorism, all forms of demeaning, bullying etc. “my ego, either is angry, or can’t handle you.)
The solution to all of this is very deep, for as long as you identify – see yourself as your thoughts which really have input from all three, and mainly from whichever, Mind – Dog, nazi is strongest (and as the emotion of the nazi and dog are so powerful, hence when under their spell we are well completely irrational) you will most likely become a dog or nazi – however if you can imagine that in truth, consciousnesses is a miracle (a rock isn’t conscious, it relates to this invisible soul which gives life) and as Kabbalah teaches, it is truly God, so the only question is, what does my mind and God say? (however to be able to do this, you must feel safe (see dog definition, so you must realize that if you follow your mind and God, you will be)
