Hi Good Shabbos

This week’s Parshah has a most profound lesson.

 

In many respects it seems a repeat of last weeks; Abraham is promised children and Israel. Sarah gets captured and freed. Drama with Lot; but when we scrutinize the names, we see something absolutely remarkable, for in the Hebrew name of everything – as Hebrew is not a language of consensus, but Divine choice – the absolute content of a subject is revealed.

 

Last week of course was about infinite growth – but what is the result of Abraham’s growth?

 

Va-arah, this week – that God reveals himself to Abraham.

 

But didn’t God already reveal himself?

 

But revelation, has infinite levels as well!

 

Hence a simple take home message is this:

 

When man grows – leaves his comfort zone, to truly seek and implement the truth he discovers, then God reveals himself – and assists man, that instead of difficult laboring – for example, rock climbing to scale his challenges – he gets God’s assistance, and like rappelling, he literally, jumps from height to height!
