God’s way

“His ways are peaceful and all his destinations are harmonious.”

We are now in the celebration of lag b’omer a celebration of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

But it also is a celebration in which the students of Rabbi Akiva 24,000 in number stopped dying from a Divinely ordained plague.

Now with isis etc., do you really think these holy rabbis needed to be wiped out?

In fact, on a deeper level, with so much dedication to God, should anyone be wiped out?

What I will say will be pretty shocking.

You see God’s way will prevail.

And what is God’s way?

“His ways are peaceful and all his destinations are harmonious.”

In other words, God is not looking for righteous people/

people who stay away from sins.

God is looking for kind people!

One of the greatest opportunities for cruelty as we see in Islam, as we saw in Christianity and in a very minor level amongst Jews, but it occurs from many other faiths etc., is the erroneous notion of superiority.

And nothing makes someone feel more right than God.
