God gave us on one hand, which is necessary for self-identity an ego – the thing about the ego is, anything it gets it puffs up it’s sense of greatness, hence entitlement, and greed – which is why as King Solomon said, "Those who desire money can never be satisfied from it" – for the only way to be satisfied in life is a. to be grateful for what you have for that tells the ego that it wasn’t you, but it was a gift from God – and b. use what you have for goodness and kindness – there really is no other destiny
