God: chains or freedom?!

We resist embracing God, for we know, that to do so, would be to place restrictions and obligations, but know this, God is peaceful, loving, compassionate and considerate! – true he places restrictions and obligations, but these are all done in a way, in which we – like a boat SAILING through water – calmly, joyfully, with love and true materiel comfort, are enabled to grow (and not to debase ourselves – so ultimately though it costs to be a believer, the price is far cheaper then to be a slave to our narcissistic, instinctual tendencies!)
