God are you in front, behind, with or all of the above?

 

This is a fascinating perspective

 

Is God behind us, for we can see God as the Creator, so he sort of set us into motion, but he is behind us – certainly, from a Judaic standpoint, we can see the miracles of revelation at Exodus, as also setting our religion into motion, so once again, he is behind us.

 

Or we can think more of God, as a protector, as many do; we can see God as being our God! the ruler of the world – so it not so much about the past, rather the present.

 

But in truth, though both of the above are correct, God is neither behind nor with, he is mostly found in front of us!

 

This was the great revelation of Chassidus:

 

For until Chassidus, God was either behind or with, but Chassidus as emphasized by the Rebbe stated God is infinite.

 

Now infinity is something we fail to grasp.

 

We think God is greater than us – but that would mean he has some kind of comparison.

 

Something that is infinitely beyond something else, has no comparison.

 

For example, you could say that say Einstein was greater than Zevi, but you can’t say, Zevi is greater than a rock; for a rock and human have no point of greatness comparison.

 

Similarly, to say God is greater than humans is even worse than saying a human is greater than a rock!

 

In other words, true infinity is the ability to be both beyond and with simultaneously.

 

And most importantly it manifests in the following: to be able to continuously transform the current into something better.
