God: A Biography

God: God is called by many names.
But the essence of God has no name.
A name of-course is a description and anything that describes that which is beyond any description is a limitation.
However, God chose to manifest himself in human traits (in fact, the reverse is true, namely, that human traits emulate Divine traits, though the reason for this is to give our mind that can only describe what can be internally felt, some kind of vantage point.) The seven holy names of God (said only in the context of prayer or Torah study) describe the seven emotional attributes (Love/kindness, Strength/strictness, the blend/Compassion, Neztach/victory, Hod/sensitivity, Yesod / emotional connection and Malchus the blend of the above, transforming an emotion into its fulfilled intent.)
Although we have no description of God, but we do know that the notion of compassion, sensitive, emotionally connecting (as opposed to distant, hence insensitive, and simply using or abusing another) is his inner core.
Unlike man, God’s desires immediately manifest reality, for as our sages state: there is no potential minus actual, the two are one and the same.
Though we could literally write indefinitely the detailed biography from Creation to the present (see the Torah for some details) essentially reality – from our vantage point existing within a time / space continuum – has a beginning, middle and end.
The essential beginning was God’s desire to give to us (for his mind’s eye could love us before we were born, somewhat akin to a mother loving the child in her stomach).
The greatest gift he could give, is transform us out of our mundane meaningless, foolish existence /aspirations, into an infinite sequence of ever slowly but surely increasing positive realities aka inspiration hence transformations.
