General and specific

By zevi770 · March 7, 2012

General and specific is God’s message;

Our sages teach us, the entire Torah was given in general and specific details.

In other words, Put on Teffilin, the specifics can fill a book.

Keep Kosher, the specifics can fill a book.

One of the hardest things of being a Chosid of the Rebbe is the scope of his call to action.

As I am reading, the Rebbe basically wants us to reach EVERY SINGLE JEW WORLDWIDE!  so one may get disheartened that one cannot achieve the Rebbes call thinking about the logistical impossibility.

The truth is the Rebbe of course compares to God, as it states Tzaddikim are compared to their Creator.

When the Rebbe has a global vision, we should apply the saying of the 60’s “think global act local.”
