G-d says "Make for me a dwelling and I will dwell within them", which the obvious question of course is, there’s one Beis Hamikdash. And the answer is, it actually means and the whole purpose of the Beis Hamikdash was that G-d should dwell within every Jew. Now there are two parts of the Mishkan. There were the coverings of the Kodesh and Kodesh Kodashim. And then of course there were the items within such as the altar, and the Aron etc. And the first thing that Betzalel, who made the Mishkan, did, was make the coverings. This represents there are two types of Divine energies. There is that which is beyond intelligence, like a GPS. We follow it because we know it is G-d. And this is the first step of being a good person. And then of-course there are those things that descend into the realm of intelligence, time and space.
