From the true reasons, why man rejected God in the enlightenment, as always; for our desires change our thoughts to suite or rationalize them; was the ironic mistake that God is not good for our libido – of course, this was based on the Christian concept that man is born into sin and priests abstain (which didn’t seem to work very well) etc. etc. – however, we need to redefine God in order to truly have the concept of who God is, what goodness is, and what life is all about – simply speaking, the enemy is not pleasure, it’s selfishness!
