From The Maagid – 230 TZADDIK – The Tzaddik of the generation reflects G-d and as all is contained within God hence everyone sees themselves (which is why the Egyptians who came out of Egypt and joined the Jewish people suspected Moses of adultery – though within the Tzaddik the “bad” is nullified.)
