From open to closed, to open/close/open

It is interesting to think of the saying of our sages, God made man straight, but he finds crooked paths.
In a sense, the way children live, is the straight path.
Children are not so much troubled with ego.
The curse of the adult world, is ego.
Another way to look at it, is as follows:
The child being humble / egoless is in the open state, which is why children literally are open to everyone, experiences etc.
The adult having been bruised, tarnished, and fearful of recurring abuse and unnecessary shame, lives in the closed state.
But the goal is to merge into the infinite of God, where we realize, life is coming from a place infinitely beyond our control!
But just because it’s beyond our control, doesn’t mean, it’s out of control!
It was necessary to be a child.
It was necessary to have our trust in other people shattered, for trusting in false gods can only lead to disaster!
But to understand the path of God, is to understand the miracle of rebirth! for God is infinite! the past is but a step in an infinite plan! – “Let Go and Let God” has helped millions of people give up our illusion that we need to be in control, and embrace the infinite journey of growth WE ARE ALL ON.
