Imagine a life in which the reality you know is the only reality

What is the reality you know?

Well one day you woke up and you had a mother and father, as you grow up you learned that there are adults and children and peers.

There are cultural norms and there are instinctive reactions.

Yet somewhere deep inside you is another voice.

It is your conscience.

It is your ideals.

It is your soul.

That there is such a voice is testimony to a different world.

Not the world you were born into, but the world you came from, and the destination – the GPS

So why two worlds you wonder?

Shouldn’t truth be absolute?

Could the voice within, somehow be different to the world you experience, see, feel and have grown accustomed to?

And the answer is that God is that voice within, your soul is God, and hence is not limited to perception, instincts, cultural norms.

The first person to understand this dichotomy was Abraham.

Born into a pagan world, his voice and his rational mind were stronger than all the foolishness of his culture.

And breaking out of his culture, at the age of seventy-five he heard God speak to him and God said – leave the cultural norms you were born into, leave the instinctual desires you have and go.

Where to?

Just listen, just have faith.

Abraham is called the chief-believer.

His faith was all encompassing!

In fire and through greater harder tests, he proved his absolute trust in this voice.

So the question is, can we overcome the dichotomy, the schizophrenia, the fear, anxiety and delusional fear of disapproval, and rise above the cultural idiocy of modern life or shall we succumb?

For after all, what’s life without challenge!
