From ego to e-pluribus-unum

The world begins in ego – one man – its all his! –

it continues in jealousy – two brothers, one gets jealous and murders –

it descends into anarchy, the strong preyed on the weak –

it re-evolves into hierarchy – kings rule, but establish order –

it evolves into democracy –

and then the messiah begins, when we realize, ego was always our downfall
