From chaos to infinity

Our sages teach us, three time periods engulfed humanity:
The first two thousand years of creation are called chaos – as the Bible described it: rape, mayhem, was the norm.
God wiped out this mentality, of “might is right,” in the great flood.
We see the beginning of civilization occur after that in Babylonia.
However, even then society was hash, inflexible, and had no tolerance for any other way but its own.
Then came the two thousand years of Torah.
From Abraham, a new light entered humanity.
Here for the first time was someone actively promoting the welfare of others!
Not only not harming, but helping!
His children received the Torah, enshrining the highest, nobles of charity, interest free loans and a thousand other qualities into the psyche of one nation.
Then comes the two thousand years of redemption.
But hold on, the two thousand years of redemption begin, when exile started!
How can we say, the most torturous phase of Jewish history, is redemption?!
The answer of course is, that the Jews are meant to be a light onto the nations!
To be a light, they had to descend into the darkness.
For when the Jews were ejected by God from Israel, the nations of the world at best had these rigidly but often savage societies, mentioned.
And within these nations – in fact, post the holocaust – not a single country did not have Jews, who though being part of the culture, were a light – a role-model how man need not be selfish, and should be selfless!
And ultimately, as the Rebbe said in 1991 “Moshiach has come!” – quoting the Kabbalistic doctrine that the light already spread to every corner of the globe, we enter the messianic era!
The essence of the messianic era which has already begun, is infinity!
What is infinity? The ability for the same things to infinitely progress!
Yes, today! we find around the world literally hundreds of millions, if not billions of people who have chosen to abandon the stupidity of materiality, the foolishness of instinctual drives, attaching themselves to God.
And God of course is infinite!
Hence, once a person becomes a Baal-Teshuvah (chooses God, rejecting the values of foolishness, instincts, “the world”) then God in return chooses them! and as God is infinite, leads them into the infinite zone, where every day, perhaps every moment, another deep spiritual life lesson is transmitted!
