For thousands of years, Jews and perhaps all religious people have grappled with this question

 

 

How do we reconcile science and faith?

 

Are they mutually exclusive – incompatible – hostile etc. etc.?

 

The Rebbe teaches, that this dilemma stems from a fundamental misconception that the creator cannot take part in his creation!

 

For example, we all play computer video games.

 

Does the creator of those games and his creations, have a closed relationship?

 

The truth is, that obviously whoever invested their time and effort and often cash into making those games, have a highly personal relationship with their creations!

 

So the goal is to realize, that yes we are in God’s game, but though materialism is not the objective, and transforming our lives through dedicating them to God, goodness and kindness is – nevertheless, certainly the creator takes pleasure when we win his game!
