Figuring out God

God we wonder

Who exactly are you?

O.k we know what you did – you created the world, you sustain it –

But to know who someone is, you need to know why – why do they do?

What is your motive? – for what pleasure does this universe bring?

The answer is simple, God is just like you.

Do you not receive pleasure in people?

But is not the greatest pleasure in being able to help people?

And is not the greatest pleasure in being unified – merging in the closest of friendships in a marriage-like union?

So God made people.

He obviously gives us everything.

Then he allows us to realize we need him.

And in response, to the extent that we let him, he guides us!
