Everything that ever happened, from the beginning of time and will ever happen and is happening can be categorized in one of three categories, either it is a kindness (motivated by love, compassion or identification) or it is selfish (motivated by a need to survive, a desire for a pleasure or fear of punishment / shame) or it is cruel (motivated by the ego’s sick pleasure in demeaning another, for the ego seeks total subservience (as it is an irrational desire) though usually cruelty is motivated by jealously (which is motivated by the ego’s belief, that "it is unfair that you are say happy, while I am miserable" hence the mind becomes aware of deleterious behavior in you, that I must rectify; which is why evil people are busy condemning good people.)
