Everything has a motive – there are only three possible motives – the first is the motive of sincerity (which includes the drive for truth and compassion) the second is the motive of instinct (which includes all that gives us a natural high (lust – drugs – music – recognition even intellectual discovery and conversely the desire to not feel a natural low- shame, loss… and of course not to feel pain – hence the need for safety (but if one feels safe, then their desire is for the highs as mentioned) then the worst energy, is the diabolical pleasure of sadism (this is what drives hitler, terrorists, blm, and all anti movements – for a movement that is constructive uses dialogue and love, not violence, sadism and hate)
