Everything exposed

I recently was enthralled by the economic, technological, historical discoveries, told in novel format, in George Gilder’s, must read, “Israel Test.”
One of the remarkable sayings, by perhaps one of the great geniuses of all time van-Nuemman (inventor of the computer, algorithms, game-theory and much more) was the line (to the effect) “One cannot be shocked at evil in man, just as one wouldn’t be shocked if a person caught syphilis.”
This is a very very very profound understanding of man (of-course, game-theory showed one of the keenest insights into the machinations of man.)
But of-course, though he was right, the problem, both he and Einstein, in fact, all physicists had and have (often) is the lack of context.
To understand a home from the perspective of an engineer, but not realizing it was built for people, is to not have context.
So only by understanding the context in which a human is engineered, can we have the foggiest idea of true truth.
One of the classic lines of Chassidus is, “Freud dug in the ground and found worms, had he dug deeper he would have found water!”
But let’s back up – why are we upset when we see evil?
Obviously, we must have had a positive expectation.
And this is the crux of the issue, if our positive expectation is based, well on expectations (which are based on experiences, which is what causes expectations) then we will be upset (for example, countless anti-Semites, nations, till this very day! have had a single desire, to make the beautiful-soft-loving-hearts of Jews, cruel, insensitive, callous and demonic – This is the heart of evil: a jealousy of love, and the consequential joy it brings – However, they have all failed, for the simple reason, Jews didn’t expect better! – While, for-example there is a story of a Jewish superman (incredible, incredible strength) who was a real hero, and was put in charge of block in the infamous Auschwitz extermination camp, where he risked his life, countless times to save Jews; yet upon arrival in Israel, was maligned as a traitor (Kapo) You see, the Germans with their literally devil tactics, couldn’t break his soul, for he never expected different from them, but Jewish tongues (perhaps well-intentioned) literally, broke his heart and he died most probably, of grief.)
On the flip side is context – the context of life cannot be extricated from life, for it comes from the master, the designer, it was revealed through the Kabbalah masters (though it can be verified) quite simply, as the Baal Shem Tov says “Life is about growth!” but in order to get to growth, every single insanity that ever occurred had to.
As game-theory attests the notion of Jung (also brought down in Jewish mysticism) “There is no birth of consciousness, except through pain.”
You see, if life is about growth a. we had to have freedom of choice, if we have freedom of choice; it must be that b. evil is as attractive, pleasurable as good; c. it must be, that in order to grow, we need to choose; d. in order to choose (for ultimately as Kabbalah teaches, we will! do the right thing, so life itself leads us through the pain of negative choices to desire positive ones) So in order to choose, we must go through the negative, experience its stupidity, evil etc. Search of the truth, but finally e. We arrive at the conclusion, which is the complete union of God and man, where the two literally become a single unit.
