Everyone talks truth – the only problem is, that the mind has three issues, number one, even what we think is true, is only either based on what someone told us, which we believe, or what we think, which may be wrong – the second issue is, the mind is the slave of the heart – the heart is our built in instinctual desires (practically, what tastes good (is pleasurable) and what we fear (will or could be painful, as well as the fear of the unknown) – So what happens is, if I desire something, my heart is like a virus, as for example, in dieting, we all know what we should or shouldn’t eat, but we conveniently forget, when we desire it, though we will often feel guilt later (for in the guilt stage, as the desire isn’t present, we have a rational perspective on it – but to make matters worse, God-blessed us all with a (un) healthy ego – the ego is another kind of desire, it primarily seeks to lord over others – or in modern society for money, fame – and to make matters even worse, the ego gets angry when it feels hurt (which is why if someone maliciously insulted you, you will hate them) But to make matters even worse, the ego also has an ability (and constantly does) get jealous over the good another has – now this jealousy is what’s responsible for maliciousness, for when a. is jealous of the good b. has; the mind (being the slave of the emotions and ego is all emotion) doesn’t think, “Well why don’t I go get what b. had” rather, it begins to produce hallucinations of why what b. has is wrong, why b. is evil; all effectively justifying (as in the dieing example) my maliciousness (God-forbid); which will either allow me to rape, pillage and even worse, in the case of antisemitisim, current Islamic radicalism, simply torture, murder, indiscriminately
