Every experience we have, in fact every thought, every sight, every sound etc. etc. is all designed; for within us, as the Rebbe teaches, is a arbiter of truth; and we filter all our experiences through this arbiter; and as people enjoy conclusions they arrived at; hence in the end of the day, we discern between the darkness and light, hence, we CHOOSE the light over the darkness.
