Eureka (shouted he for the millionth time:) You see, this is what I just discovered (or perhaps it is just a mistake, but for now…) the reason the world seems dark, is because it’s like claustrophobia – no one likes to be restricted – Imagine the feeling when you go from the airplane (especially as I take trips to South Africa, so after 16 hours straight and you get into wide open space) or from your home to vacation, the feeling of expansion versus contraction is miraculous – this gets me onto the subject of miracles, you see, this is why God is such a drug, suddenly, for those who realize, believe, see, know – there is a lack of restriction – However and this is critical, we often get stuck in the expansive state – For in truth as Chassidus teaches, the world must exist in the expansive / contractive, like heartbeat state – in other words, the goal is not another drug (wow “cool vista”) Rather it is to transform – now in order to transform you must have both states, for the expansive is the beauty, but the contracted is the mission – in other words, by knowing God, you have joy but by sharing God you share it!
