I heard from Rabbi Kesselman that the Rebbe said (or quoted) that “truth corroborates itself from every angle.”

This in fact was one of the most profound contributions of the Rebbe.

As we know, Judaism – at least Jewish scholarship – is essentially, a question answer format.

The Rebbe would uniquely ask, say, twenty questions on a given subject, bring different answers and often show how the answer leaves something still in question, then offer an answer which eliminates all twenty.

Once in a while, God gives one clarity:

We are like pots

Inside our pot is clear water

Our heart is the water, our body the pot

Now what’s important to know, is, that everything you add into a pot, colors, flavors, changes everything else!

Here are the primary colors:

Desire (usually for what we think will be pleasurable or bring us honor.)

Fear (of what we think will be painful or shameful to us.)

however there is also black – a poison that renders every flavor inedible!

Anger
