Essentially two types of personalities, hence societies develop, the first – ideally – when people see that they belong to a greater good, particularly in Judaism, or those who jointly believe in democracy etc., hence people identify, are therefore kind to one another; then in almost every other society, where there is no greater good unifying the individuals, the only reason people interact, is based on “what can you benefit me?”
