Eradicate Poverty In Israel

Dear Friends,

It is my great privilege, pleasure and joy, to introduce you to my campaign to alleviate hunger in Israel.

I have started through a Jewish grassroots funding website, rootfunding.com, a campaign to support Colel Chabad!

Our current target is http://www.rootfunding.com/campaign/emergency-hunger-relief-in-israel-2012

• Colel Chabad by far, is the greatest NGO in terms of feeding Israel’s poor (thousands of food boxes monthly delivered! 25,000 over holiday periods! 19 soup kitchens all over Israel, feeding over 1,000,000 meals annually!!!)
• It is also the holiest, being under the auspices of every Chabad Rebbe – founded by the author of the Tanya, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi two hundred years ago, till our current Rebbe!
• All the money you give gets doubled though an anonymous matching funding donor!
• The criteria chosen for recipients is actually through the Israeli government’s social welfare!
• And perhaps most importantly to some, the Chabad Rebbes have guaranteed that contributing to assist this holy initiative feeding Israel’s poor, is an excellent source of Divine blessing – which I truly believe it is!

Now what can we really do?!

Let’s be honest!?

Even though Please God I undertake one family and you perhaps one, can we really alleviate the unfortunately epic, literally, epidemic of hunger (over 800,000 children live below the poverty line in Israel according to government statistics!?) YES! YES! AND YES!!!

You see, rootfunding is designed in such a way that the donors become fundraisers in the easiest way possible, namely by suggesting to another friend to start a campaign.

So here’s how the avalanche begins from a snowflake!

I am encouraging you not only to undertake the support of one family a month through a 75 USD donation (even if it means combining a few friends for this) but I am encouraging you to find one (or more) friend who is also willing to do so but here is the catch – whoever you get, must also be a person willing to get another person, because to truly alleviate hunger in Israel – and Colel Chabad just needs our money – it doesn’t take a few donors, it takes donors who are willing to solicit another person, who is willing to solicit another!

All of your donations gets recognized on the rootfunding website, as well as the people who will be donating after you!

                        We can do it!

Please God I will try to send a weekly video or media PR about the work of Colel Chabad, cause as they say in advertising it’s not what you say, but how many times you say it, that gets people to press the button!

Thanks!

Zevi
