From many one

 

But what does that mean?

 

Does it mean we all need to be the same?

 

The truth is, God obviously is unlimited and that which is unlimited need not replicate, it can innovate – not only innovate, it has an infinite potential to innovate – which means, not to replicate the same thing infinite times, but to create infinite unique things.

 

And this is the great secret, so hidden from our dim eyes – unity is not homogeneity, for that is the obscuring of individuality – rather, unity is when each of the individuals, realizing their shared purpose to be a light, in our own personalities, to our own family, friends, groups and perhaps by extension to the world at large, that in our shared destiny we achieve e-pluribus-unum.
