Does google love me?

 

 

I certainly love google – they have set up an amazing search engine – I used to use yahoo, but it didn’t give me the results, I was looking for – but google seems to get it right.

 

Then if you want to use google ads, boy they will talk to you, I just got a reply within 24 hours.

 

But truth to be told, I think google doesn’t love me, in fact, I don’t even think google knows I exist, I think google is actually just using me – yes that’s it, the reason they created the search engine, is so they can make money from advertisement, the reason they created such a responsive team, is because I pay them.

 

This is reminiscent of a story, that got Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the author of the Zohar into some serious trouble:

 

Three saints discussing the roman occupation of Judaism / Israel commented: one spoke highly, as the Romans built bath houses and aqueducts, the other, fearing Rome, was silent, but Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai said, “the romans built bathhouses for their own needs, they built the aqueducts for their needs, and the bridges they built is to collect taxes.”
