Does God’s mood matter?

As I was reading one of the Rebbe’s talks, about how the name Noach meant “he will comfort us” which referred to the floods of the water, and his sacrifice that made God happy, we must think – a flood as comfort?! but if we look at it from another angel, God decides never to bring another flood after his sacrifice!

So the question is not, does God’s mood matter, rather does man matter?

In other words, when people get angry or even fall in love, they think it matters – does it? – does our mood change anything, but how WE FEEL!?

But when God gets angry, Oy-Vey! when God gets happy, Yay!

Effectively, this is the sum total of the teachings of Kabbalah and Chassidus, how to get God happy! which of course, as we know, comes through OUR happiness, through OUR love, for God’s mood mirrors ours!
