Do we need to understand to understand

Scientists teach us that between us and the subatomic particles there is an endless – quantum – leap.
The truth is we do not know the structure of the core of particles and there are only hypothesis for the deeper we go the deeper we find there is to go.
However on a simple level just like the computer screen you use works, though you and I do not know how those little dots that create images – recreating the same image at lightning speed (hence the ability to move and shift images) work, but perhaps more importantly need not know how to understand their nature for us to benefit from it, similarly we need not understand the nature of atoms to understand how the build the world.
Similarly – and this is the point – we need not understand how God interacts with the universe nor how he communicates through Prophets or through Mashpias for us to use his wisdom to better our lives.
