Do the means justify the ends?

All of history teaches us, that the means not only don’t justify the ends, but if the means are not as gentle, as loving as the ends, the means become the exact opposite of the ends – for example, communism ostensibly desired a loving harmonious world, but the means they used, were such, that it unleashed a wave of terror, which made Hitler proud!
