Do Muslims genuinely believe that as the Koran and their teachers teach them, to murder and be murdered, is the only ticket to God?

True, Muslims may be peaceful, but if you look at the vast majority of evil in the past few decades, almost all have been perpetrated in the name of Islam – don’t know about you, but seems to me, the more religious they get, the more evil they become! so then the question is, are Muslims different? – are they naturally evil? or perhaps does the Koran contain so many references to murdering infidels that they genuinely believe that as the Koran and their teachers teach them, to murder and be murdered, is the only ticket to God!
