Desire’s curse

The thing which is most dangerous to us is desire, desire is the strongest force in the world; it controls our thinking patterns, our emotions, our thoughts, speech and actions; only by saying to ourselves, “my only desire is to follow what God asks of me!” can we choose to do what’s right, and not allow our selfish desires to overwhelm our soul.
