Dear God,

Dear God to begin with I want to thank you for EVERYTHING!
But this letter really isn’t neither about thanks nor requests it’s rather to empathize.
You see we humans down here have lots of desires – but we are funny – you don’t find us so funny – well it’s just a colloquialism.
You see, we tell you what we want and we expect you to do it how we want!
The thing is I understand that if you granted us our wishes we would be like the Jerusalemite who looked heavenward begging for a parking space and when a car miraculously pulled out he turned to you and said “thanks I found one.”
So as the Rebbe Rashab teaches, you not only gives us what we need/want but you do so in a manner that we realize it wasn’t us but you.
So dear God help us accept that the past present and future will always be simply the same mechanism.
