Ironically, he’s a genius!
Let’s understand God’s goal, and see how all of the above actually serves it.
God’s goal is for you and I to be good.
For us to be good, two things must occur, 1. We need to CHOOSE to be good and 2. Perhaps far more difficult is, we need a mechanism in which we can learn to navigate the temptations of life.
To choose to be good, we have become aware that hate is evil, LOVE IS GOOD!
But to navigate our own temptations that distract us from fulfilling a meaningful altruistic life, this takes a far greater science!
And it is really the pain of regret etching itself so deeply in our psyche (teshuvah) that creates the impetus to forge ahead meaningfully, altruistically, leaving the pain of regret to meander itself away! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
