Once upon a time, a great magician with no lack of concentration abilities thought a thought – how about, if I create the ultimate magic show? – magic of-course is about the unexpected transformation – I will create an animal and transform him into an angel – I will call this being man – To assist him in this process, I will give him a woman – You see, the reason a person is an animal is because he has base desires that control him like all animals are – However, if he can shed his ego (the justification to indulge, for the ego justifies itself based on the premise “I deserve” – hence “I desire all my impulses”) then he is capable of positive transformation and as the Baal Shem Tov says, “though not everything your wife accuses you of is true, some of it certainly is!” – this humbling of ego is what allows transformation – but you see, transformations are not limited – are there any limits to magic tricks?
