Clarity or unclarity – well clarity overrules

One of the most barbaric shenanigans the Yetzer Hara (the little devil) within us uses, is called Kelipas Amelek, the evil of Amalek.

Unlike other taivois – desire for forbidden things etc. Kilpas Amalek doesn’t challenge us through other things rather he challenges, through placing doubts in the very premise of what we are doing.

For example when I became more interested in being religious I could feel how there was this “cool it” voice with in me which has never left.

Whenever I do something for my own pleasure I never hear it, only when I am doing something for God, there is a clear voice which has one objective “cool the fervor.”

So it is all based on its own premise, namely that you will look odd, you will be different, which is based on one of the most powerful of human desires, to be normal, to be accepted, to fit in.

But as Einstein rightly called reform Jewry, a sell out, for he states, people respect those who respect their own convictions.
