Capacity

What is our capacity?
One thing is for certain, scientists say, we only use a small percentage of our brain.
Think of a brain, as the ultimate learning machine.
It has a harddrive for long term memory.
Consciousness for absorbing new information.
Ram for holding in active memory, two thoughts.
Now the moment we see our brain as a computer, we can escape the biggest trap of all.
The trap of consciousness.
For the fact that we are conscious (aware of our surrounding and current thoughts) makes us think, that reality is taking place in our consciousness – in other words, what we are conscious of, is reality.
This is, of course, why we fail to fully appreciate the true reality, namely, God, who we cannot see; and hence our access to, is only through intuition, faith etc.
But if we use the idea of the computer being a brain, suddenly we have unlimited capacity to learn.
With such a capacity, the question is obviously, not what are we currently conscious of, for that is like a single photo in a world, where you can take infinite photos!
And finally, because we have a harddrive, we must understand, that ultimately our consciousness – our infinite learning capacity – is being brought through experiences directed by God, so we can continually grow.
