Can we be rational?

Know this, our thoughts are never rational, they are simply by-products of our emotions, for just as an animals say a dog loves his owner for he feeds him and say fears a bigger dog similarly, we think about what we love or fear and if God-forbid jealous we begin to see evil in others justifying malice – so the only pure rationality is giving up our desires to exclusively listen to God!
