Can peace with Arabs work?

I heard an interesting speach this Shabbos
Mr. Treeger was speaking in honor of Yor Tzeits, he said:
Avimelech comes to Isaac who rebukes him, “you hate me – you kicked me out of your country and now you seek a peace deal.” “We don’t hate you” he replies – “if we hated you we would have killed you!”
And Isaac seems not to reply.
He in fact has a party and both men walk away in peace.
However they didn’t sign a peace treaty.
Why?
Isaac realized that their frame of reference was different.
Avimelech was a dictator, a man who believed that, “if I don’t kill another, kindness has been done.”
Isaac was a man of honor of mutual cooperation, of love harmony and charity.
The same is playing out with the Arabs and Jews today.
A peace treaty to the Arabs, and this is what they really believe! is that they should take over Israel and allow Jews to be dhimmis – which is how Muslims have treated Jews for millennia, YES MILLENNIA.!
To Jews, a peace treaty is one in which people love and cooperate, respect and assist each other.
Perhaps we would do well to realize that with Arabs who come from the “might is right” attitude peace treaties can never work!
