Besides God, the Torah… and the Torah is not what people think it is, for Torah means instruction, and though of course as Maimonides says, no law of the Torah will ever be abrogated – nevertheless, it is only as Rabbeinu Bichaya says, instructing basic human decency – spirituality, which is the next dimension of the Torah, and the actual goal of it, namely to continuously learn, whether it is from the lessons God sends us, in fact, as the Baal Shem Tov says, "Everything we see and hear," and as the Rebbe adds, at times "the thought that comes into our mind – is a lesson from God in goodness and kindness" – and finally, because God chose us, and His choice is infinite – so therefore the three things that are likewise, again, is: God, the Torah, and us
