Before the Baal Shem Tov even great scholars didn’t have the foggiest notion of God, for they had no paradigm – since the Baal Shem Tov, as I recently saw from the Rebbe, the revelation of the inherent oneness of God with reality becomes increasingly more revealed – fundamentally, prior to the Baal Shem Tov, people categorized God as a thing – whether you believed God-forbid in idolatry or in the one God, unfortunately you believed in a singular (or multiple beings;) this being had power – to understand the fallacy of this we have modern science that clearly attests: everything is not only a singular energy (hypnotizing that the difference in atoms may be (for no one has seen this theory, called string theory) that they are different wavelengths (as we know that all things we see, hear etc. are really all simply different wavelengths)) but furthermore, it literally has no inherent existence, as every milli nano second it disappears and reappears confirming the teaching of Kabbalah that energy emanates out of God and returns back to him which is the universe we live in – so if this is the case, the truest paradigm we have of our universe is (as has also been proven scientifically) we are in a video game – continuously refreshed, following certain natural laws; continuously refreshed by the programmer; but if that is the case, not only can the programmer change any law at will (which we call a miracle) the entire program is but, as Einstein says “reality is an illusion albeit a very persistent one” – which begs the question, why does it exist in the first place? which as the Baal Shem Tov and the Rebbes teach/reveals an entirely new paradigm literally unimaginable that every scene, experience, sometimes even thought of your life, are really just the next stage in the video game – namely your, mine and everyone’s continuous growth
