Assumptions

Rashi teaches, people think “what’s in their hearts, is what’s in the others heart’s” for example, the Arabs with their four thousand year tradition of murder rape etc. etc. were certain when Jews conquered their villages after wars they started, precisely for that purpose, Jews would do so to them, which is why they ran en-mass in the war of Independence and they were humbled after the six day war, but the point of this point is very interesting, for what it shows is, when a person has love, they assume others love them, which is the basic Jewish and western, certainly American standard, but when others hate, say the Arabs (from jealousy, and many in the Muslim world still living in the medieval feudalism era, in a zero sum game or in other words, dog eat dog world) hence, they assume that we hate them!
