Ask not, in fact, more importantly want not, what God can do for you; want, in fact, more importantly, ask God, only for what you can do for God; for in the former, you will never be satisfied; for as long as our desires are at the center of our wishes, as our desires are endless – for no matter what we set our eye on, there is / will be something “bigger and better” to achieve later – hence like a gerbil on its wheel, like a horse in a merry-go-round, like a dog chasing its tail, it’s an exercise in insanity! but if we place at our center God’s desires for us, well, it is both achievable and fulfilling!
